2023 NINAWC CONFERENCE NEWS

The conference was a huge success! We hope you were able to join us.  For planning purposes, this is a bi-annual event. We are hoping to offer a virtual one-day event in 2024 and gather as a group for our multi-day conference in 2025. Location to be determined yet.

You are still able to request a certificate to document your attendance at the NINAWC Conference.  You will need to complete the evaluations for each day and then send an email to sharon@teamdyn.com and let us know that you have completed the evaluations.  Once we have received your email, we will process your request for a certificate.

Member Benefits

Connection: You are connected to a larger group banded together to produce positive results for families served by tribal WIC programs.

Conferences: Conferences can provide quality education and networking for WIC professionals.  If you would like to be involved in planning or committees for upcoming NINAWC conference and meetings, please reach out to board members

Meetings:  Periodic members-only meetings help to keep members in the loop, offer time for sharing and solutions, and  a forum for gathering input and feedback from members.

We will also assist with hosting various information meetings. Invitations to attend, meeting information and the registration will be found on our website.

Public Policy / Advocacy: We share information with our members that is of concern to the various programs they operate through their WIC clinics.

Free Informational Services: NINAWC keeps members in touch with each other and current issues through the coalition’s web site and email updates of emerging issues relevant to WIC programs and policies.

Members Only Sections:

  • Materials  We will be creating flyers and educational brochures based on the WIC program for use by our members. Each will have an area where you can personalize them for your clinic.
  • Forums  We can share ideas and post questions for other members.
  • Leadership  The board meeting agendas, minutes and reports will be available for membership review.
