This Thursday, October 7th at 4pm Eastern, the Intertribal Agriculture Council, the Food Research & Action Center, and New Mexico Appleseed are hosting a listening session for Tribal stakeholders to discuss potential program improvements to the Federal Child Nutrition Programs in light of upcoming Child Nutrition Reauthorization legislation in Congress.

What: A Listening Session on Tribal Nutrition in the Child Nutrition Reauthorization

When: Thursday, October 7th at 4pm ET

Who: Tribal stakeholders of the child nutrition programs

Why: With Child Nutrition Reauthorization (the process by which Congress makes improvements to child nutrition programs) on the horizon, opportunities are arising to improve the Federal Child Nutrition Programs and the way they work in Indian Country. Join us for this listening session to provide us with your suggestions and feedback on potential improvements to Nutrition Programs in Schools and Child Care, to ensure that it is serving your communities.
